The
heart of APAC's research involves agricultural and commodity policies
and programs and other policies affecting agriculture. We look at
the economic consequences of alternative farm policies, those ranging
from farm bill scenarios to incentives for sustainable production,
as well as economic conditions, from floods and droughts to changes
in trade expectations. An important goal of our analysis is to consider
the inherent variability in the ag sector including uncertainty
in yields and exports.
