| APAC
has developed a broad set of modeling, data management, and
analytical tools to complement our research program. |
 |
POLYSYS
APAC's
principal policy modeling framework is POLYSYS, an economic
simulation model of the U.S. agriculture sector. This model
is capable of incorporating yield and export variability. In
addition to major crops and livestock commodities, the model
can consider bioenergy crops and environmental performance indicators. |
 |
TnFARMS
Tennessee
Financial analysis and Risk Management Strategies (TnFARMS)
is a set of models representing farms across the state (grain,
cotton, tobacco, and beef cattle farms). The models can be used
to estimate the impact of various policies, economic conditions,
or management strategies on each farm's profitability and financial
strength.

APAC
Databook and Data Manager
Much
of the data routinely used in APAC's models is now available
to other researchers and policy analysts through the second
edition of the APAC Databook. In addition to the printed Databook,
the Data Manager software allows you to quickly located, compute,
graph, and export critical data. Various data series are available,
including APAC and PS&D variables. |
 |
ABS
- APAC Budgeting System
The
APAC Budgeting System (ABS) is a database-driven farm budget
generator providing detailed field operations schedules and
associated per-acre crop production costs for a wide range of
production systems and soils. |
